  • On November 13, 2024 of the Generative AI In Action 2024 conference, delivered a technical session titled “Building Advanced AI Systems with Open Source LLMs: Opportunities and Challenges.” In this talk, I explored the practical applications of open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) in developing cutting-edge AI systems, discussing both the potential benefits and the challenges associated with their implementation. The session emphasized real-world use cases and provided insights into how organizations can effectively adapt open-source models to meet their specific needs.   • On November 7, 2023, delivered an expert talk titled “Navigating the AI Landscape: From Perceptrons to Pioneering LLMs Applications” to consultants at CAPCO India. The presentation traced the evolution of artificial intelligence, beginning with foundational concepts like the McCulloch-Pitts Neuron and the Simple Perceptron, and progressing to contemporary Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT. Emphasis was placed on the mathematical underpinnings of neural networks, accessible to those with a basic understanding of high school mathematics, and the application of LLMs in the financial sector.
  • On September 23, 2023, participated as a panelist in the London Futurists webinar titled “Bletchley Park AI Safety Summit: A Preview.” This event gathered experts to discuss key considerations for the upcoming AI Safety Summit at Bletchley Park. Dr. Kapoor shared insights on critical topics to be addressed, contributing to the dialogue on ensuring the safe development and deployment of artificial intelligence.   • On July 20, 2023, conducted a live training session titled “Reinforcement Learning for Game Playing and More” through Ai+ Training. This four-hour hands-on workshop provided participants with an in-depth understanding of reinforcement learning (RL) and its applications in game development. The session covered key topics such as the fundamentals of RL, the use of OpenAI Gym for designing custom environments, and the implementation of deep reinforcement learning algorithms.
